NORTHERN CALIFORNIA DARTS ASSOCIATION

Dart E-Board Meeting
December 12th, 2007
Paddock Bowl

The meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m.

Attendance:Ron Calvert
  Carol Calvert
  Ron Peppers
  Bob Martell

This will be the final reading of the motion to reduce the size of the board.
The motion is as follows:

The board will be limited to President, Vice President/Competition Secretary, Secretary/Treasurer, Monday Governor and Wednesday Governor -- stating the Governors would assist the Vice President with some of the duties.

The motion was carried and will become effective immediately.

Ron Calvert reported that he tried again to reach Robin Nanni and left a message again to have her call him. He also called Keith Ward (her captain) and asked him to have Robin call if he spoke to her.

There was a discussion of the decrease of players in N.C.D.A. and with the end of the Monday and Wednesday season we should try to increase membership.

Bob mentioned that he has a players Roster for the past 4 or 5 seasons and perhaps those members should be called to see if we can get some of them back playing. If each board member called 10 to 12 past members -- we might get some of them back. A list of the entire membership should be given to all board members. It was also suggested that each captain have phone numbers of each of the players on the team.

Ron Calvert suggested that we have a general membership meeting at the finals of the Wednesday season. Sign-ups will also be taken on final night for Wednesday league. Bob said he would take Monday sign-ups at the Finals of the Monday night season.

Carol moved that members who sign before the finals would receive a three-game bonus (win). All approved.

There being no further business -- Bob motioned that the meeting be adjourned. Motion was carried. 7:25p.m.

Next Meeting:  January 16th (one week prior to finals and General Membership meeting)  – 6:30 at p.m. at Paddock Bowl

Chris motioned for adjournment – Bob Seconded – Meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.

Respectfully,

Maggie Martell, (filling in for Sec.)
